Brand New Vinyl Records Skip

I purchased a brand new sublime vinyl and it skips like crazy throughout the entire record.

At first i thought it s an old album so i got s new copy brand. Is there a way to fix this or do i just have a dud record. I have checked the needle for any lint or dust but i see none. Even brand new records i have not touched.

You should clean brand new records before you play them the first time.
